BASKING SHARK TOURS
.

BASKING SHARK TRIPS:

2010... WE ARE TAKING NAMES AND CONTACT DETAILS READY FOR WHEN THE BASKING SHARKS ARRIVE; SO PHONE NOW TO GET ON THE SHORT LIST.

Available from 2008, we can now offer trips specifically designed to watch Basking Sharks. These majestic annimals can grow as big as 10m and are an awsome sight.
We are planning to run trips to view these wonderfull  sharks during the months of May, June, July and possibly August. The trips will be highly organised and will follow the rules  of shark watching as given by the "Shark Trust". Spaces will be very limited so booking is essential........
Please check this section of this website for specific trips, or phone to book a private trip, discounts are available for groups of 8 or more, please phone for more details.
Children under the age of 13 years will not be permitted to swim with the sharks but are welcome to view them from the boat.
If conditions are right  people will be able to swim with these sharks and photograph them in their natural habitat, all wet-suits , masks, snorkells and fins will be supplied as will guidance as to the way to view these sharks without interfering with or intruding in their normal behaviour.
The price for this trip is £50 per person , £45 for viewing only or £45 per child up to the age of 16, for up to a 3 hour trip to include hot drinks and biscuits, a special price of £40 will be available for groups of 8 or more .

My insurance covers you while you are aboard "Atlantic Diver", but as soon as you enter the water it is at your own risk and if you want insurance cover you will have to provide it yourself.

We have been running these trips since June 2007 and our passengers have been completely "blown away" by the experience................so much so that we have had many repeat bookings!

Whilst every effort will be made to locate the sharks you are advised that as they are living in their natural environment and not caged there is no guarentee that we can locate their position in what is a vast ocean, however we have had a great deal of success but if this would cause any problem to yourself this is not the trip for you.
