July 6th
Once again July has been exceptional, with viz exceeding 20m on a regular basis and the sea being like glass,. this month is proving to be one of the best ever.

One highlight this month was when I played "Taxi" to H.M.S Cornwall, when half of the ships crew were given shore leave, basically to visit as many pubs and clubs they could in a short space of time. This was as you can imagine very interesting when the crew returned slightly the worse for wear. But they were very well behaved and it all passed off without incident.(well almost).

June 20th
Diving this month has been some of the best for ages.... long spells of settled weather has meant calm seas and superb viz. We have dived every day and the viz has been up to 20m with the sunlight it has proved to be awsome....minor problems with the boat caused a few hiccupps, but now that i can keep the engine running for longer than 20 mins I am happy again, thanks to "Danser" of Padstow for the new fuel hose.....I hope to have some underwater pics soon

The end of May was a bit stormy so diving was limited, but now the wind has gone and the sun has come out with avengence! The viz is well up to its usual 15m and the last couple of weekends have been fantastic. We dived on the St George during last week and were able to recover some copper ingots however the majority have been buried under some fresh sand, hopefully this will be dragged out again in the near future. Also this week we have seen the first Basking Sharks, there were at least 20 and we were able to swim with them for about an hour before the main dive of the day, lets hope the stay around for a while longer

8th May
The weather this past week has been super! and we had a great weekends diving with a club who came last year for the first time. There has been evidence of the first plankton to the North of Newquay so we concentrated the diving to the west and this paid off as we dived a wreck in 40m on Sunday and the viz was stunning, however we did have a slight problem as 2 of the group had a rapid ascent and as a precaution the lifeboat was launched and they were taken to Newquay to be checked out by the paramedics. This incident happened at quite an opertune time (if there is such a thing) as the local paramedics had just returned from a training session with DDRC and were well clued up with all thing "bendy". thanks to the RNLI and the Coastguard for their rapid response!! The two "casualties " were declared fit and well and after a suitable de-fizzing period were allowed home.

I have been diving every day for the last 3 weeks and the viz has remained stunning, I have been working on a project for T.V and I hope this will be shown sometime early next year. The series is to be called "Deep Wreck Mysteries" so watch out for it

8th April
With a small group of divers we dived the bow section of the HMCS Regina and the viz was awsome the flags which were placed on the bow back in the summer were still there and nice to see. The amount of light on this dive was amazing and no torches were needed to see the wreck, in fact the whole of the wreck could be easily seen from about 25m from the sea bed
